WE Can Change:
The World
By Robert Baird
INSPIRATIONAL COMMENTS:
In the following pages, I offer nothing more than simple facts, plain arguments and common sense; and have no other preliminaries to settle with the reader, other than that he will divest himself of prejudice and prepossession, and suffer his reason and his feelings to determine for themselves; that he will put on, or rather that he will not put off, the true character of a man, and generously enlarge his views beyond the present day. -Thomas Paine
I do not believe with the Rochefoucaults and Montaignes that 14 of 15 men are rogues: I believe a great abatement from that proportion may be made in favor of general honesty. But I have always found that rogues would be uppermost, and I do not know that the proportion is too strong for the higher orders... These rogues set out with stealing the people's good opinion, and then steal from them the right of drawing it, by contriving laws and associations against the power of the people themselves. – Thomas Jefferson, letter to the Mason Marquis de Lafayette in 1823.
Consistency is the hobgoblin of small minds. – Aldous Huxley
I believe that the moment is near when, by a procedure of active paranoic thought, it will be possible to systematize confusion and contribute to the total discrediting of the world of reality. – Salvador Dali
The trouble with the world is that the stupid are cocksure and the intelligent are full of doubt. - Bertrand Russell
Carlos Castaneda wrote another of his weirdly wondrous books in 1998 dealing with infinity and we think it might help to get Life Magazine's response to his work:
"Castaneda's sanity lends to even the most lurid experiences the force of data. It compels us to believe that don Juan is one of the most extraordinary figures in anthropological literature, a neolithic sage. It helps us to accept, from the continent we stole, a mysterious gift of wisdom."
“There is an eye of the soul which is more precious than ten-thousand bodily eyes, for by it alone truth can be seen.” – Plato
“One of the saddest lessons of history is this: If we've been bamboozled long enough, we tend to reject any evidence of the bamboozle. We're no longer interested in finding out the truth. The bamboozle has captured us. It is simply too painful to acknowledge -- even to ourselves -- that we've been so credulous.” – Carl Sagan
When you were born, you cried and the world rejoiced. Live your life so that when you die, the world cries and you rejoice. -- Cherokee Proverb
Political tags—such as royalist, communist, democrat, populist, fascist, liberal, conservative, and so forth—are never basic criteria. The human race divides politically into those who want people to be controlled and those who have no such desire. - Robert A. Heinlein
The urge to save humanity is almost always a false front for the urge to rule. - H.L. Mencken
"The clergy converted the simple teachings of Jesus into an engine for enslaving mankind and adulterated by artificial constructions into a contrivance to filch wealth and power to themselves...these clergy, in fact, constitute the real Anti-Christ.” – Thomas Jefferson
Rudyard Kipling (A Mason) wrote in his Epitaphs of the War: 'If any question why we died, Tell them, because our fathers lied.'
"None are more hopelessly enslaved than those who falsely believe they are free." - Johann Wolfgang Goethe
“I see in the near future a crisis approaching that unnerves me and causes me to tremble for the safety of my country.
As a result of the war, corporations have been enthroned and an era of corruption in high places will follow, and the money power of the country will endeavor to prolong its reign by working upon the prejudices of the people until all wealth is aggregated in a few hands and the Republic is destroyed.” - President Abraham Lincoln, 1865
INTRODUCTION:
When the character played by Peter Finch in the movie Network cried out in his proselytizing manner that he ‘was mad as hell, and not going to take it anymore’; he struck a resonant chord amongst the people who study the way of the world. However it would seem that the huge majority of people in the supposed Free World still think only madmen are so honest. Few are they who actually will give up their ill-gotten gains or the fruits of the horrors perpetrated on other people and nature itself. There is no need for asset re-distribution in order to make all people very wealthy. That being said I do think there are some organizations who should pay the piper due to illegalities or immoralities. But I am able to forgive and forget or live with the ethic of ‘renewal’ as John Paul II asked for in 1999 while apologizing for ‘two millennia of heinous acts’. However any organized religion that does not seek common ethical and ecumenical goals in line with sound societal principles is a danger to the world.
Those who try to define or somehow limit spirituality end up ignoring its nature. Those who accept it blindly assign it virtues beyond its purpose. It is not just religion or metaphysical science which concerns mankind as we try to make sense of our present and future potential to address the ethics and technologies that could allow real growth and movement away from our history of destructive acts that develop warfare rather than our total potential as life on Earth. Here is a case in point dealing with history and the cultural contact that took place in pre-Columbian times with the Americas. It is my response to someone who thinks you can tell a whole new history in a few threads who also has not read many of the excerpts much less any of my books.
‘Science has found Roman and Etruscan settlements in America and many other cultures too. It is reported in the original writings of the first missionaries and it is in modern archaeology. There were Basque speaking communities in Central America found in the last century and Rongorongo of Ilavarta and Easter Island was there too.
No, in fact the problem is rather what Lord Renfrew has said. History has been shown to be a pack of lies. Lord Renfrew, Disney Professor of Archaeology at Cambridge University states:
"Archaeologists all over the world have realized that much of prehistory, as written in the existing textbooks, is inadequate. Some is quite simply wrong. What has come as a considerable shock, a development hardly foreseeable just a few years ago, is that prehistory, as we have learnt it is based upon several assumptions which can no longer be accepted as valid.."
I have both personal expertise and actual hands-on experience in Central America as well as the original languages which fieldworkers have found most insightful. My prognostications are always proven correct as new evidence comes forward (Hobbit, Bonobos - being two in the last year which further add to the Portuguese baby that is a crossbreed hominid) and there are examples of this in most sciences.
But what has served the 'social engineers' well is that they can say things like 'What is the peer reviewed opinion'? When there are no funds going to Phoenician Doctoral programs and no integrators of all science through the entire world over all of history; it is hard to have any peers.
Or they can point to another era and time and say something to bamboozle the student who sees the person speaking knows that era and people very well. But all these people or races and nations are not real history but rather a record of what politics and religion (social engineering) has done to separate people from their 'brothers'.
Thus I have had to have a complete picture or framework going back to the first white people and even how they might have come into being. Some of the pre-white people ideas are very speculative but I think I have done that framework of real history and the elite families who managed it. But no one (or four) book can put the picture together and thus pundits (often paid by 'social engineers') can say he refers to his other books for more on the point and avoids the issue. But I have to target certain issues and not the issue they might raise at that point in that particular book.’
Most people do not see the metaprogramming that has gone on around them in the past. Few people in the field of neuroscience today can doubt the powerful tools at their disposal make it possible to play god. Our government can make people become machines or behave according to the wishes of some transhumanistic imperative. The shaman, the psychonaut, and the metaprogrammer have intuited this inevitability and are setting themselves ahead of the curve. They engage imagination and invoke it into being, shaping mind and matter in the image of heaven. The central goal of the western magickal paradigm is to unite spirit and matter, the macrocosm and the microcosm - to reveal the kingdom of heaven on Earth. I have considerable experience in these areas and I delve into it fairly deeply in many books. I try to warn people about the nature of the magick which has been and continues to be used as part of the tools employed by social engineers. I am talking about a lot more than mere archetypical Neuro-Linguistic Programming or religious ritual of course. It may be necessary to use these things if mankind is to be brought to the point where he will stop his incessant warring and insane religious differentiation or ego.
Americans find it distasteful to imagine eating babies. It is the logical thing to do when faced with starving them to death. The same thing used to go on in India as I was growing up. In SE Asia today you have parents selling kids into sex shops for a TV.
Kim Jong Il is like a lot of tyrants except that his country has been cut off from the rest of the world. America (the politicians like Helms-Burton) would love to have seen Cuba reach these depths of depravity.
There is not one nation that has a leg to stand on. NOT one! Nations are created to fit into a world community that is and has been racist and Empire run (By proxy when not directly) for a long time. The use of religion and race to differentiate people along with the fiction that there was a time when man did not travel and trade in the whole world (when there were no nations or immigration departments) is tantamount to black ops. People must form a supranational group to compete with the supranational corporate entities!
But people think jobs and some other fictions are what is important,
"The most dangerous man at the present time, said Major Douglas in answer to another question, was the man who wanted to get everyone back to work, for he perverts means into ends. This is leading straight to the next war - which will provide plenty of work for everyone." www.alor.org/Library/Tragedyofhumaneffort.htm#1a
