Stone Circles and Temples

Across the world there are thousands of mysterious and mystical sacred sites whose full use and meaning are now lost to us. For centuries scholars, academics and many on the fringe have attempted to unravel the enigmatic puzzle. Some have claimed that many of the megalithic monuments and more complex sites were placed here by aliens many years ago and others that they come from the influence of some peculiar, almost holy beings who step in and out of our dimensions like some kind of angels. The vast array of sites include everything from astronomy and astrology to ritual and religious conundrums, and yet it is often because of the many problems that so many disparate answers arise. All the time we neglect our own humanity - that these buildings were erected by humans themselves, and so, to discover the truth we must look within.

Sub paragraph 1 The True Temple

One thing many can agree on is that these ancient sites were probably for religious purposes. This is beyond doubt, because religion and ritual were not separated from the rest of life, like it is today. The Temple was not somewhere one went to on a Sunday for worship, it was with them all the time. In truth, Temples and ancient structures are manifestations of inner realities; they are man building and forming the internal world and thereby connecting himself to the greater universe. There is a real reason that your brow is indeed called the Temple.

Sub Paragraph 2 Where?

The location of any Temple is of paramount importance because of the connection of man to the world or universe around him. These connections began with such simple physical things such as water, earth, animals or trees. But eventually these things became symbolic and appeared as carvings and paintings upon the structures and the structure itself took on symbolic mathematical resonance in-tune with its stellar, lunar and solar alignments. Locations were chosen to match these inclusions.

Sub Paragraph 3 How?

How did ancient man create such structures and Temples? It is impossible in such short space to answer this quickly and so let us take probably the most important Temple. How did ancient man build the Great Pyramid so accurately? We know for sure that manpower and resources were no problem to the ancient Egyptians. But what instruments did he use to layout this incredible building, while in some other parts of the world people were living in caves. The answer lies in a device found by the author Crichton Miller and parts of which still lie in the Great Pyramid. Miller has reassembled the device, patented it and amazingly the device looks exactly like the Celtic Cross.
