Right, the pendant. Dating it is a little difficult to be precise, but it has the Grail image as the post eleven hundreds version, so its certainly after that. It also has the sun on the reverse - a solar force (energy, life, god). The front, hammer - is a masculine force, normally attributed to thunder gods such as Thor. It is creative and it was used to destroy, a kind of alpha/omega tool in that respect. Hammering the nail (another masculine object) into the cross, pins down time Christ is Horus, Horus gives us time (hours)). In this respect, the Hammer is also often seen as the Tau cross - a symbol of time and treasure - because TIME is the true treasure (once we understand our own immortality). The pliers or "tongs" are also symbolic of the thunder gods and were often used with the hammer in sumbolism. When they are together they often depict the creation of the universe. Christians, early on, used these common motifs because this is how they understood their own beliefs - no different to what had come before - until stolen and lost. The Hammer of Thor could of course also resurrect.
The Nail, can also represent the Axis or cosmic axis and so binding one down with the Axis was to put you in a place and time also. The three nails - one in each hand and one through the feet made the triangle (pyramid), the trinity (three in one) and formed the Tau or secret cross. Three's being extremely symbolic - hence three crosses also at the crucifixion.
The centre is pointed to by the double lance. Again a lance is masucline and so the masculine principle is pointing towards the centre of the feminine Grail chalice (Mary/Isis/Guinevere etc). Lances, arrows and spears also represented the solar force (like on the reverse). So in this central image we have the union of the opposites - the masculine spear and the feminine grail - causing the secret Tau or immortality and escape from TIME. The so-called crown of thorns in surrounding the chalice is really the intertwined serpent (see the head on the left) which is the dual serpents of chaos and creation - again opposites between which we must strive to be - not being either!
So, what we truly have here is an image that explains duality which must be killed in-order for the middle (spine/axis) path to be walked to enable us to escape TIME and achieve immortality - Christ being the image of this - but missing.
Our link to this being seen as astrotheological is on the reverse, where we have the lamb of god above the number 7 (planets and also chakra points and many other things - levels of heaven and earth etc). These are as Crichton Miller has just this second pointed out - the pleides. The lamb is the age of Aries and this signifies the end of such and knowledge of that was for the initiated priesthood.
The IHS at the centre again points to the centre of illumination (enlightenment that we are outside of time and therefore immortal) was the ritual cry of Bacchus before the Christians stole it - it signified the fact that doing the ritual of Bacchus (and drinking from the Cup of the Agathodaemon - good serpent and Grail) would enable us to escape time the father of Bacchus.

The cross is, as far as I am concerned completely related to time
The “Templar” cross identifies the seasons and also the precession of the equinoxes which are the cause of life, death and rebirth as we know it
The cross is a solar symbol derived from an ancient navigation/astronomical instrument used to measure time, distance and speed
The cross is a wheel for measuring wheels of stars with a philosophers stone on a string pointing to the centre of the earth to measure in angles of degrees
It is the instrument used to create the original measurements of the earth and directly related to Time
Time is represented by two interweaving serpents representing the dynamic causes of changes that we so blindly see as linear in nature.
Time is Horus is hours, the cross and the Serpent Draconis is indivisible and is the Tree of Knowledge producing the fruit of that knowledge and introducing the divisible or measurement used by Royalty and Priests to control the flock
I make no judgment as to whether or not this is necessary for human survival but I might comment that what ever the churches and Royalties motivation in controlling this secret, there is no doubt that they have screwed up and that the ignorant or Meek have already inherited the earth and the Rulers(Measurers) are dispossessed.
Mankind slides ever deeper into the morass of illusion in complete disconnection from the Powers and intelligence of Nature without knowledge of cycles and cause and effect making short term decisions in an entirely selfish and isolated fashion producing a result that will destroy our world as we know it or want it for our children.
